OUR STORY
Our company’s story began with a defining moment that revealed a critical gap in the waste management industry. A big-box retailer called on the owner of a local pressure washing business—who would later become a key figure in Tenth Rock—when their trash compactor malfunctioned.
What he encountered was chaos: piles of trash growing uncontrollably, a parade of service providers showing up at the wrong times, and employees stretched thin, struggling to maintain operations amidst the disorder. The store manager, overwhelmed by the disjointed patchwork of quick fixes, faced mounting frustration as costs and inefficiencies spiraled out of control.
This experience sparked an idea:
What if one company could take charge of the entire waste emergency process?
A solution that would eliminate costly errors and provide a streamlined experience for businesses.
The idea was brought to seasoned entrepreneurs, who saw its potential and acted quickly. Together, they launched Tenth Rock with a singular goal—to deliver comprehensive waste solutions that blend a personal, local touch with the ability to serve clients nationwide. Today, Tenth Rock has provided solutions for a wide range of companies across 48 states.

Keep Pinellas Beautiful is the local Keep America Beautiful affiliate, engaging 20,000 volunteers annually in over 1,300 community improvement projects. Their efforts have removed thousands of pounds of trash from beaches and waterways, safeguarding Florida’s unique ecosystems. As a proud supporter, Tenth Rock provides waste management expertise and resources for clean-up events, helping to maximize their impact.
